A proud graduate of the University of North Carolina, Debbie has degrees in industrial relations, psychology, and economics. She also studied labor economics at the London School of Economics.
She started her career in business development and finance, setting the terms of corporate contracts, leading negotiations for Fortune 1000 clients, and building financial skills that serve her well in her current role. Over the past eight years, she has elevated the FCEF Super Grants and Advanced Staff Training Grants programs to the main source of grant funding for FCCPS teachers, encouraging our educators to think big and create programs based on what their students need, not what the budget allows.
